Atmosphere:

  • Restaurantosaurus has one of the coolest atmospheres of the restaurants at Disney! The theming of the place is that the archeology students from the Dino Institute (Dinosaur ride) live here! These are their living quarters; where they sleep, eat, and hang out. When you come in you will see many funny things, like a folding chair on the roof! There are a ton of props hanging around and the space is HUGE! There is both indoor and outdoor seating, and it can get very crowded around lunch time.

Food:

The food at Restaurantosaurus (Resto for short) is middle of the road, classic American. You can get cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets and other “fast food” favorites. There aren’t a lot of interesting foods here, so it’s great for picky eaters! We aren’t crazy with the food here, especially with all of the other amazing food options at Animal Kingdom. Resto does have really cute kids meals, they are just regular nuggets or burger choices, but they are made even better by being served inside a green bucket with a little shovel! It’s a great souvenir to take home with you and even to the beach. One fun feature of Resto is the toppings bar. Once you have all of your food you can stop by and load up on loads of different items, like sauces, salsa, cheese, and other miscellaneous toppings.

Recommendations:

  • Mobile ordering is available here
  • Try to sit in the airstream trailer, it is very cool and one of the most unique seating options at most Disney restaurants.
